A Trip to
Yogyakarta
On May 13th, me
and my friends were gone to Yogyakarta for two days in order for "Grade 3
separation”. We departed from school from 06.00 AM till 03.00 AM by bus.
We stay in a
village called ''Gabugan''. There we were taught how to make batik, made a
parcel of towels, and plowing. We were very happy because we get a lot of
experience from the village. On our second day there, when night comes, we got
to enjoy the area’s unique foods for dinner and dance.
The next day, we
went home on 06.00 AM. We visited Parangtritis beach. There we took pictures
and played together. Then we continue to Malioboro, there we shopped for
souvenirs. Because there’s a time limit, the teacher told all the students to
get back into the bus for the journey home. Several hours passed and since we
were hungry, we all ate at a restaurant. Then go back into the bus and
continued our way home.
Finally, we
arrived at the school at 03.00 AM. I asked my dad to pick me up because I bring
a lot of baggage. After I got home, I immediately gave the souvenirs which I
bought there with happy feeling.
